Trump Contracting COVID-19

The findings from a national survey released today from Maru/Blue Public Opinion conducted by the Maru Syndicated division COVID Tracking study, demonstrates that many Canadians are sounding the alarm with the recent jagged spike in COVID-19 cases being reported across the country. The results of a survey conducted by Maru/Blue Public Opinion indicate that a majority of the 2019-2020 NHL season Stanley Cup playoff watchers (56%) and those who self-identify as ardent hockey fans (57%) believe that despite a reconfigured season, the Stanley Cup winner will take home the same prestige and honour as in all team winners in the past.
The Conservative Party of Canada Leadership Race
Peter MacKay tops choice for leader by those who would vote for the Conservative Party if federal election were held tomorrow (55%)—as well as general Canadian population (51%) if they could also choose.
Debt, Deficit & CERB
Three quarters (76%) of Canadians very concerned with impact of government debt over longer term for young people and deeply worried over how deficit and debt will affect their taxes (74%) but majority (59%) are more focused on surviving today than worrying about size of deficit or debt: one in five (21%) say if they don’t continue receiving COVID-19 related money they literally could lose the roof over their head.
