Trump and Fraud

A survey published today by Maru/Blue Public Opinion Research finds that a majority of Americans (54%) believe voter fraud took place during the recent election. The survey also revealed:

  • One in six (17%) Americans believe that voter fraud has actually occurred in their own community

  • If all avenues of appeal have been exhausted, a vast majority of Americans (78%) believe President Trump should concede the election and start the transition of power

  • However, three quarters (74%) of Americans don’t believe President Donald Trump will concede and begin a transition of power

  • Should the Supreme Court either rule or allow to stand election conducted legitimately and Biden is President-elect, nine in 10 (87%) say President Donald Trump should accept the decision, concede, and begin the transition

  • However, even if the Supreme Court makes a decision in favor of Joe Biden, a majority (56%) don’t believe the President will accept that decision

  • If, after the Supreme Court ruling, President Trump refuses to leave office, a vast majority (77%) believe he should be forcibly removed by some means

  • Half (48%) believe there could be violent protests in their own community if President Trump digs his heels in and refuses to begin the transition

  • Given what Americans are currently witnessing, half (52%) believe that the United States is on the brink of widespread civil unrest
