Potential Black Friday Blues
The results of a Yahoo/Maru Public Opinion survey released today suggest that less Canadians are absolutely committed to purchasing goods on this coming Black Friday pre-Christmas sales kick-off than they did in 2020 (from 25% who admit to doing so then to 21% now.)
However, almost half (46%) of Canadians say they might also show up at the cash register, but it depends on the sale or the circumstance. When pressed to say if they could either tap or click through on November 26 this year, an overall total of six in ten (61%) potential shoppers emerges from across the land.
