Funding Afghanistan Safe Houses

A poll released by Maru Public Opinion on the eve of Canada’s Remembrance Day ceremonies reveals that a vast majority (80%) of Canadians support the government of Canada funding approximately $6 million over the next year to Canadian veteran’s groups and other non-government organizations so they can keep operating safe houses in Afghanistan for interpreters who assisted allied military forces and their families until they can be processed and get out of the country.
