Vaccine Release in America

As the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) give approval to the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for use and ships the first batch of 2.9 million doses to Americans, a poll undertaken by Maru/Blue Public Opinion indicates that roughly one in three (31%) are ready to immediately roll up their sleeve and be vaccinated.

However, half (49%) of Americans prefer to wait it out on the sidelines for a few months after others have gotten it to see if the vaccine is okay to take and one in five (19%) flat out reject getting vaccinated at all.

The survey also reveals that focus on the vaccine rollout comes as seven in ten (68%) Americans say they’re concerned with actually catching the virus.
