Issues of Concern and Bother to Canadians
A survey released today by Maru/Blue Public Opinion for “Project Canada 2020” led by Reginald Bibby, OC, PhD, a leading sociologist from the University of Lethbridge, finds that the issue of poverty as a very serious concern to Canadians has risen the most (up 22 points) among national issues benchmarked and tracked since 1975, while very serious concern about crime (down 23 points) has gone in the opposite direction during the same timeframe.
