Gen Z savings

A new Maru Public Opinion survey conducted for CIBC released today finds a majority (65%) of young Canadians aged 18-24 are worried about keeping up with living expenses.

A majority (69%) of young Canadians (aged 18-24) consider themselves to be 'good at saving' and half (48%) describe themselves as "savers” when asked about their monthly saving habits. Four in ten (42%) say they’re unable to save right now and half (50%) feel they're financially behind other people their age.
