Online versus in-store shopping preferences
A new Yahoo Canada/ Maru Public Opinion survey released today finds a whopping seven-in-ten (67%) Canadians admitting that they’re shopping less in stores nowadays than before the pandemic began back in March 2020. Yet, if given a choice between shopping in a brick-and-mortar store or online, two-thirds (65%) of Canadian consumers prefer to wander the aisles and purchase items off the shelf.
