Happy Holiday Intentions

The results of the first annual Canadian Holiday Season Yahoo/Maru Public Opinion survey were released today and reveal that even just before the discovery of the Omicron variant, many (46%) Canadians were feeling anxiety and pressure as the holiday season approaches. And, while a majority (81%) of Canadians indicated that they felt safe shopping in-person, half (50%) were planning to make the most of their holiday purchases online. For the vast majority (90%) of Canadians who are planning to purchase holiday gifts, the national average spend is $678 CAD.
