Media consumption and trust

The third annual Kaiser & Partners’ Media Consumption and Trust Survey undertaken by Maru Public Opinion reveals that established news media (i.e., newspapers/online newspapers, broadcast news, radio) tops the list with content from social media in general ranked dead last among Canadians concerning various sources of information tested for the integrity of their credibility. Of those information sources assessed, those deemed to be most credible by Canadians are the first-ranked established news media (53%), followed by content from Public Health Agencies (34%), and information released by the government(s) (29%).
