The Pandemic Impact on Child Eyesight
Maru Public Opinion released the results of a national survey of Canadian parents undertaken for CooperVision Canada that suggests the ongoing pandemic forced in-home stays may have negatively impacted the long-term eye health of Canadian children aged fourteen and under. The culprit is likely the increased use of near vision activities such as reading, writing, and using electronics—the likes of which include online learning monitors, tablets, or a television screen—for extended periods of time.
